Apprenticeships

Our apprenticeships cover a wide range of sectors from business administration and customer services, to engineering, construction, early years education, health care and hospitality and catering. We can also offer consultancy on organisation-wide training needs analysis, or deliver bespoke skills development.

If you are new to apprenticeships, or a small business about to hire an apprentice for the first time, we can provide guidance and assistance in using the Government's Apprenticeship Service platform. In fact, we are one of 15 training providers nationally to have been chosen by the Department for Education to take part in an Expert Provider pilot project. This gives us unprecedented access to additional features within the Apprenticeship Service that are designed to help employers even more.

Skills Bootcamps

We can also work with you to create a Skills Bootcamp for your organisation. These short duration courses are built specifically around the needs of your workforce and are largely funded by Local Authorities. They provide an excellent opportunity to upskill members of your team in the areas that you need, whether that is coaching and mentoring, digitals skills, catering skills or improving customer service. There are some rules around this provision (attendees must be over 19, the course must result in additional responsibilities or pay award at the end, and you will be asked for a co-payment of either 10% or 30%, depending on business size).

With all that said, Skills Bootcamps are possibly the most flexible and cost effective solution to training the workforce, that the Government has backed.
